  1. I remember when I bought an Otterbox case for my iPhone XR some years ago…

It was a Strada purple leather “folio” case with a protective and magnetic flip.

After 3 days the magnetic piece came completely unstuck from the leather covered “caddie” and I have to stick it again with neoprene glue and hold it for 1 week with a clamp to seal them together.

After that it was ok and was pretty efficient and worked well but for a 50-60 euros investment it wasn’t worth the cost obviously…

I think Otterbox is overrated now because they were ahead of the market for good price/quality products at the beginning but they didn’t follow through with their buyers needs.

They still good at design but when you pay for a 1000-1500 $ smartphone you want quality above all.

  2. It is overpriced I like the esr as well it’s held up better. The otterbox started peeling around the camera bump as well which is disappointing for that price, plus the camera button not being protected

  3. The product in the video is not what Otterbox known for and for sure theres more alternatives for that. But for their Defender series you can’t find the competitor which stands for same specs they offered. Being used their cases for more than 5 yrs, though they are expensive but they do the jobs.
